With over 100 restaurants in Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, there is something for everyone. But how do you choose the best for you? The vacation consultants of Worth The Trip Travel have eaten all over “The World”. From first hand experience and comments from thousands of satisfied clients, we’ve compiled this list of dining recommendations for Walt Disney World. Many locations fill up in advance and do not offer a wait list for walk-ups.

Magic Kingdom

 

Be Our Guest offers a price-fixed menu with appetizer, entree, and dessert and a chance to eat inside Beast’s Castle. Try the Gray Stuff – it’s delicious!

 

 

 

 

Dining reservations at Cinderella’s Royal Table located within Cinderella Castle (signature meal – two dining credits) are some the hardest to score. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are hosted by several Princesses. Reservations fill up very quickly. Princesses currently not appearing.

 

 

Skippers Canteen is a Jungle Cruise-inspired, Asian themed restaurant in the heart of Adventureland. Enjoy some corny humor with your curry or egg rolls and an expanded drink menu inspired from the cult classic, now retired, Adventurer’s Club in Disney Springs.

 

 

Epcot

 

Le Cellier in Canada is a very good steakhouse with a romantic ambiance that is still family friendly. Lunch or dinner will be two dining credits on the meal plan. Try the cheddar cheese soup!

 

 

 

 

Lunch or dinner at the Coral Reef in Epcot is always a nice choice. From every seat in this restaurant, you can see the giant aquarium — it’s pretty cool!

 

 

Biergarten Restaurant in Germany is an Oktoberfest celebration with live music most days and a German feast. It’s a lot of fun for both adults and kids!

 

 

 

Looking for Mickey? Farmer Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale host the Harvest Feast at Garden Grill, a family-style meal with fresh offerings from the Living with the Land greenhouses.

 

Hollywood Studios

Sci-Fi Dine-in Theatre at Hollywood Studios is a unique treat. You sit in convertibles to eat and watch trailers from old sci-fi movies. Food is is standard American fare: steaks, burgers, pasta, and the atmosphere is top notch.

 

For a Signature meal try Hollywood Brown Derby featuring classic Hollywood favorites including the famous Cobb Salad and Grapefruit cake!

 

Minnie’s Seasonal Dine at Hollywood & Vine is where you will find characters greeting socially-distanced in their finest holiday attire! 

 

Lunch or dinner at the ’50s Prime Time Cafe at Hollywood Studios is a blast from the past. Mom seats you, your cousin waits on you, and you can’t have your elbows on the table. If you don’t finish your veggies, no dessert! It’s a fun place to eat!

 

Animal Kingdom

 Tusker House offers all-you-can-eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner hosted by Donald and his friends ready for Safari.

 

​For something with Asian flair try Yak and Yeti in the Asia section of Animal Kingdom for lunch and dinner.

 

Embark on a culinary expedition of international cuisine at Tiffins, which was inspired by the travels of the Imagineers as they planned out Animal Kingdom. This signature dining venue offers some of the best theme park food in all the parks and includes options like Wagyu beef and braised pork belly for lunch and dinner.

 

WDW Resort Hotels

 Chef Mickey’s at Disney’s Contemporary Resort with Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, and Minnie. It’s an all-you-care-to-eat family style serving breakfast and dinner, and it’s a lot of fun. This is the classic Disney World meal featured in many commercials and tv shows. Charecters are currently social distanced.

 

Whispering Canyon Cafe – have a rootin’, tootin’, good time at the Disney’s Wilderness Lodge where cowboys and cowgirls can enjoy bountiful platters of campfire favorites while enjoying the antics of the crew.

 

Ohana means family and at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, it is also means all the meats! One of the most popular offerings at Walt Disney World features all-you-can-eat family-style pit-roasted meats, sticky wings, famous noodles, and amazing bread pudding to finish each night for dinner!

 

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort also is home to Kona Cafe which is very popular for breakfast featuring the famous Tonga Toast, a sugar-coated stuffed french toast that many fans dream about all year!

 

Boma, the all-you-can-eat option at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, is a popular choice for its smoked meats and african inspired foods. Both breakfast and dinner serve up an array of choices to feed even the pickiest of eaters!

 

For a nice character breakfast Topolino’s Terrace at Disney’s Riviera Resort & Spa is top notch. This price-fixed meal features great breakfast selections and a visit from Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Daisy. The dining location also offers gorgeous views of the Walt Disney World property and you can get to Epcot or Hollyw​​ood Studios quickly on the Skyliner from there. If you only do one character meal this should be it. Charecters are currently social distanced
