- Friendly or a people person with experience in customer service. Our clients deserve the best people that can walk thru them through their vacation planning and handle any difficult situation that arise with poise and professionalism.
- Passionate about travel. You don’t have to have traveled everywhere in the world but a passion for your field will convey into a passion for your clients travels.
- One with excellent communication skills written and verbal. Including being a detail oriented person.
- Above average computer skills. Most aspects of this career require understanding of email, online booking engines, social media, and basic office applications.
- Teachable with an eagerness to learn. Being a travel specialist is a constant changing profession a willingness to learn new skills and how to change existing processes to benefit you better is necessary.
- A self motivated individual and can work independently. You are your own boss, no one works harder for you than you. While we are all part of a team that collaborates on many aspects of vacation planning, a lot of your time will be spent independently servicing your clients.
- Organized. From online storage of documents to managing emails and multiple client trips at a time organization is a must to succeed.
- An experienced Traveler to a variety of destinations. For Disney Destinations recent experience preferred in last 3 years and multiple visits.
- Part of a large social network or is willing to expand their network. The best business builder is referrals, having a large group of friends and family to draw clients from as a base is a great way to kick start your career.
